1935 'Official' Coronation silver medallion as issued by the Royal Mint.
This is the official silver medal that was issued in 1935 for the King's Silver Jubilee. Obv. VI . MAII . MCMX King George V, to the front, facing left. Queen Mary, in the background, also facing left. Rev. STET FORTUNA DOMUS (Translated from Latin: Let the fortune of the house stand.
Comment Windsor castle as seen above the tree line. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It is the only official medallion issued with the King and Queen on the same side.

The 1935 medallion comes in two sizes.
The smaller of the two is: Diameter - 32 mm Weight - 15.4 grams of 0.925 fine silver. Or 0.458 ounces of pure silver. The larger of the two is: Diameter - 57 mm Weight - 87.5 grams of 0.925 silver. Or 2.60 ounces of pure silver.
