1935 'Official' Coronation silver medallion
as issued by the Royal Mint.
This is the official silver medal that was issued in 1935 for the King's Silver Jubilee.
Obv. VI . MAII . MCMX King George V, to the front, facing left.
Queen Mary, in the background, also facing left.
Rev. STET FORTUNA DOMUS (Translated from Latin: Let the fortune of the house stand.

It is the only official medallion issued with the King and Queen on the same side.

The 1935 medallion comes in two sizes.
The smaller of the two is: Diameter - 32 mm
Weight - 15.4 grams of 0.925 fine silver.
Or 0.458 ounces of pure silver.
The larger of the two is: Diameter - 57 mm
Weight - 87.5 grams of 0.925 silver.
Or 2.60 ounces of pure silver.
