1680 Crown - 3rd bust Edge: TRICESIMO SECVNDO Obv. Good face features for Charles II with part of hair clear. Slight weakness to the legend strike at CAROLVS - top of OLV unclear. The initials 'T' & 'B' have been stamped either side of the bust. Rev. All four shields and internal motives clear. IB of HIB weak strike at top in exactly the same area as per the obverse ! Date: Clear. Grade: Difficult as Charles's head and the right side of the coin are Fine+ but the left side due to the weak strike makes the grade Fair ! The 'T' & 'B' has not improved the coin's appearance. Luckily they are in the field and not on the bust.
