[China] - Kiau Chau (German Occupation)
This was a German trading enclave, including the port of Tsingtao, located on the Shantung Peninsula of Eastern China. The only TWO coins ever issued for the Kiau Chau were by the Germans in 1909 to the value of 5 & 10 Cents. The Japanese took siege of the post in 1914 and remained in possession until 1922 when it was restored to China. It is presently part of the Peoples Republic of China. Major city:- Tsingtao (Qingdao).
These coins are very scarce in all grades especially in the higher grades.
