SH 1920 A - 3 + B (D. 1803) Obv. Good head strike. Die crack just above George's ear towards back of his head for about 3 mm. Small pin-head size tone spot on George's neck. Toned in legend - head & field brightish. Rev. Lion's nose is slightly weakly struck. [The metal now used is 50% silver & 50% copper making it a harder metal for the dies to get a strong strike. Legend dark toned, centre dusty bright. Grade: pAS (Very scarce in this grade) All early 1920's silver coins in high grade and good strikes are very hard to find. This is one of the best examples we have of this date
