1841 Copper penny -
Obv. A very faint streak of slightly darker toning or poor metal mix is visible from 4 o'clock to back of head. For some reason does not really appear on the scan - possible due to angle of lighting ! It is very faint and does not really detract from a what is a nice coin. Approx. 70 - 75% of lustre remains.
* A similar coin (1841 No colon dots after REG) fetched £525.00 in the Alderley collection - Jan 2007 !!!!
