1841 Copper penny - Type 2 (No colon dots after REG)
Obv. There is a very faint vertical 3mm hairline indent on Victoria's hair line - midway between eye and ear, from her ribbon down.
It could be natural and occurred during production or have been done soon after.
There is still lustre within the indent.
Otherwise the coin is choice with approx. 80% lustre on the obverse and virtually full lustre on the reverse. One of the best 1841's we have seen or had for a long time.
