In 2006 Queen Elizabeth II was 80 years old.
In Guildford Cathedral she handed out 8 complete Maundy sets (8 x 10p) 80 pence to 80 men and 80 women.
As well as the 8 FULL Maundy sets each recipient received a red and white leather purse.
The recipient has decided to retain the paperwork as a souvenir of that great day.
