NORTH: Along Pembridge Road, after Kensington Park Road, the PORTOBELLO road (1/4 mile away) The location of the book shop and house for the film 'Notting Hill' is further along that road.
SOUTH: Is Kensington Church Street, which is famous for smart antique shop and restaurants, etc; this leads down to the main KENSINGTON HIGH STREET (1/2 mile away).
EAST: Is Kensington Gardens (1/4 mile away) & Kensington Palace (1/2 mile away) the location of Princess Diana's last home. Further along is Bayswater Road, Hyde Park & Queensway (3/4 mile away). Further along is Marble Arch (3 miles) and then Central London, etc.
WEST: Is Holland Park (1/4 mile away) and then Shepherd's Bush (3/4 mile away).

BY CAR: There are parking bays around, but can be difficult to get on, at times. Cost: 20 pence per 8 minutes; £1 per 40 minutes (Oct. 2000). Kensington & Chelsea resident bays also available - for permit holders only.
