1925 Sixpence

Obverse 2 (1st issue for 1925) is as per the issue from 1911. It has a narrow rim. The alignment 

of the letter to the border teeth are another way of determining which is obverse 2 or 3.

Obv. 2 has the I of DEI pointing to a tooth & the colon dots after GRA: pointing to a gap between teeth

Obverse 3 (2nd issue for 1925) is new. The border rim is now broader and thicker. George's head

is also larger in size. The alignment of the letters to the border teeth are also slightly different.

Obv. 3 has the I of DEI pointing to a gap between two teeth & the colon dots after GRA: now point

directly to a border tooth.

1925 Sixpence

of the letter to the border teeth are another way of determining which is reverse B or C.

Rev. B has the I of IND pointing to a gap between teeth & the D of IND pointing to a border tooth

Reverse C (2nd issue for 1925) is new. The border rim is now broader and thicker. The Lion & the

Crown are also slightly larger in size. The alignment of the letters to the border teeth are also slightly

different.

Rev. C has the I of IND pointing to a tooth & the D of IND pointing to a gap between two border teeth.
