HC1920D - Obv. 3 + A This obverse type is extremely difficult to grade as even in choice pAS grade the head is in such low relief that it appears worn ! The coin appears to have little to no wear but looks VF - at best. Rev. It is slightly easier to grade the coin from the reverse as it does not have the same low relief as the obverse. There is the normal wear as with all of the halfcrown reverse since 1911 - weakness at the top of the shield, in the centre, just below the crown. Grade: Obv. Looks VF but is probably EF? - for strike - Dull Bright Rev. Possibly EF for strike - Dull Bright * For this obverse type a very reasonable grade coin
