Obv. Only the top colon dot after BRIT~IAR º is visible - no trace of lower colon dot.

Date: '839' double struck, especially noticeable on the 9. The 1 has NOT been re-entered !

* We have another example of the lower colon dot after BRIT~IAR º missing but the rest of obverse die is in much need of repair

** We have now obtained another example of the lower colon dot after BRIT~IAR º missing but only in Fair condition. This confirms that this error die was used for some time.
